Apple is cool. We get it. Every time they update even the slightest thing, everyone clamors to be the first to get it. Well, let me be the bearer of bad news: the new iOS 7 is ridden with bugs and you should definitely hold off on updating until they get some of these issues worked out.
First and foremost, the update took almost an hour to complete! Who has time for that kind of lag in today's fast-paced society?
Second, and perhaps more concerning, updating to iOS 7 turned my phone into a bag of Pop Secret Butter Lover's Popcorn.

I'm at a loss with what to do with this. How is this an upgrade, Apple? Yes, Pop Secret is delicious, but it's tragically ill-equipped for sending text messages and checking Facebook.
I'm hoping that restarting may resolve this issue, but I can't figure out how to restart it. Should I put it in the microwave? This update is incredibly confusing.
So, if you love buttery goodness and the light and fresh taste of popped corn, I'd say go for iOS 7. If you like your phone to do things like make calls and surf the web, I'd wait for iOS 7.1.
Editor's Note: I have an iPhone 4S. I haven't received any word on how the update is affecting newer models.
Update 10:40AM 9/19/13: I attempted to put the popcorn in the microwave. As expected, this caused the popcorn to pop. I have an important call to make at 11AM. I could sure use some guidance right now.
Update 10:43AM 9/19/13: I ate the popcorn. It was delicious. Well played, Apple. Well played.
